ALL participating parade contingents are eligible to compete for the highly coveted Tala Award! GREEN is the main judging category. Your parol will be based on how well you incorporate GREEN and/or RECYCLED materials into your parol.

Judging criteria: 1) level of greenness, 2) creativity/innovation, and 3) design/aesthetics.
Prizes: 1st Prize $500, 2nd Prize $100, 3rd Prize $75.

Please remember that you will be asked to arrive early on the day of the parade for judging.
