Volunteer with the Parol Festival

Volunteer Today!

We need your help today! We have volunteer opportunities for Parol making workshops and for the Parol Lantern Festival on December 11th. Volunteers will receive a free limited edition 2010 Parol Lantern Festival Hoodie, but must commit to volunteering for at least 5 hours the day of the event or at the Parol making workshops. The hoodie made of 100% cotton is comfortable enough to wear at home and fashionable enough to sport to your most formal event. Volunteer at Parol Lantern Workshops

We need volunteers at the Bayanihan Community Center to help with the Parol making workshops. The workshop happen on Fridays, November 12th, 19th and December 3rd. We need volunteers to be at the Bayanihan Community Center at 1010 Mission St. from 4:30pm to 9pm to help set-up, assist with making star lanterns and cleaning up.
Volunteer at the Exploratorium and the Asian Art Museum

We also need help with Parol workshops at the Exploratorium and the Asian Art Museum. The Exploratorium workshop is on Saturday, December 4th from 11am to 5pm. The Asian Art Museum workshop is on Sunday, December 5th from 11am to 5pm. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Jamie Mancini at jamie@bayanihancc.org.
